SCAM/PHISHING ALERT!

We have received reports of credit union members in Northern Ireland receiving SMS text messages purporting to be from their credit union. 

Similar incidents happened previously in the Republic of Ireland, and we believe the scammers may now be targeting mainland UK.

Anyone who clicks on the link in the text message is taken to a website which asks you to verify or update your online banking details.  Here are some examples:-

Celtic Credit Union will NEVER send you a text message like this.  Please be vigilant and do not click on any links in SMS text messages or emails.
